Description of Parrot Cay ~ Donna Karen:
Nothing is as fun as arriving in paradise by boat. Bruce Willis does it. Donatella Versace and her bodyguards do it. Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts have done it (don?t get excited ? not like that) and now Donna Karan is doing it and digging it. So much so, in fact, that she?s designed two guesthouses (near her own mega-house) which, if you don?t mind hurling your credit card into the Caribbean, you can rent yourself. A five-minute buggy ride from the main hotel, this is the ultimate in private fantasies. There are four bedrooms in each guesthouse, huge dreamy sitting rooms, all-singing bathrooms, everything and anything you could possibly want ? a private beach, a private pool and a private butler. Because sharing is just so damn ordinary.

In January 2008, you can have access to Donna Karan's newly completed villas at Sanctuary, the newest addition to the stunning private villa collection at Parrot Cay Resort.
The Sanctuary was designed by Donna Karan with Cheong Yew Kuan, the Singaporean architect who also constructed the award-winning COMO Shambhala Estate at Begawan Giri in Bali. The two sublime luxe houses, on either side of a Balinese screened-in pavilion, can be rented on a weekly basis*. The highlight of each is the second floor master bedroom/living area with 360 degree island views. Each house has three other bedrooms, all ensuite and its own infinity pool and Jacuzzi. The pavilion also has a pool and is a place to dine, catch an afternoon siesta or watch a late-night movie.
Stays will include breakfast, transfers, daily yoga and pilates classes and butler service. Modern luxury facilities include air-conditioning throughout, iPod docks, plasma televisions, fax and direct dial telephones, and WiFi Internect connections. Guests also have full access to Parrot Cay Resort's facilities, including the award-winning COMO Shambhala Spa.
Situated on a private island, Parrot Cay is an escapist paradise with an emphasis on rejuvenation. Light and spacious, the garden and ocean facing rooms are cool and peaceful retreats. The one bedroom Beach Houses and one to three bedroom villas feature contemporary teakwood furnishings, four-poster beds and white muslin fabrics. Private pools in the larger villas and plunge pools in the beach houses provide additional luxuries. Air conditioning, flat screen TVs, minibars and tea/coffee-making facilities are standard, whilst CD/DVD players and flip flops are unexpected, yet welcome extras.
