Terrace Room
Sometimes referred to as the "honeymoon suite", the Terrace Suite is one of a kind, located at the top of the Bluff, with an amazing view of the beach, Morris Bay and the Caribbean Sea. It has a huge terrace for private sunbathing and dining, with a beautiful Jacuzzi.
Executive Suites
Six one-bedroom suites with a private garden patio and an upstairs dining terrace. One-and two-bedroom suites with king size beds or, in the second bedroom, two twin beds and living room with terrace views of the ocean.

A very highly guarded, mutual respect has been cultivated between the people of the Old Road Village and Curtain Bluff. For this reason room keys are not needed. However, doors may be locked from the inside and each room is equipped with an in-room safe for guest convenience.
Howard and Chelle Hulford's private home at the top of the bluff also serves as the location for weddings. The Hulfords welcome all Curtain Bluff guests into their home for a weekly cocktail party.
Electricity: 110 volts / 60 cycles (same as in North America)
*Note - All guest rooms are naturally cooled by ocean breezes and, although often unnecessary, air conditioning is also available in each room. Guests enjoy tropical surroundings with the absence of radios and televisions in their guest rooms.

Description of Curtain Bluff:
The simple, yet tropical-perfect dining spot is located in a re-creation of an old stone sugar mill-style building with a thatched roof. Chef Ruedi Portmann serves up delectable meals, making sure you see their wine cellar, where 10,000 bottles are there for the asking.
The rooms are memorable, not only for what's inside, but also for their spectacular views overlooking the sea below the bluff. Inside, the rooms have a casual decorator look with colorful fabrics, bathrooms (outfitted with rum near the tub) and sitting areas.
Though peaceful and quiet, there is entertainment nightly: dance combos, steel band and calypso music. Guests still dress for dinner (although ties and jackets are optional). In May, the Antigua Tennis Week moves in at the resort, a program began by Hulford in 1975 to send island kids to tennis camp. It eventually became a scholarship fund and has sent many Antiguans to college.
Effective, mid-December through mid-April, Curtain Bluff has loosened its dress requirements for men to involve losing the tie on weeknights when a jacket is required and losing the jacket and tie altogether on Sundays and Wednesdays.
The newest addition to Curtain Bluff is the beautiful 4000 square foot Spa which sits on the water with 5 treatment rooms (4 single rooms and 1 couples suite).
Curtain Bluff offers some of the finest dining in the Caribbean with breakfast, lunch and dinner included in the price.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner - Breakfast and dinner are served al fresco in the Main Dining Room with sweeping views of the gardens. Lunch is served around the main bar terrace or in the more casual atmosphere of the Beach Club, which has been restyled with luxurious teak furniture. In-room dining is available during all meal hours.
Afternoon Tea - Afternoon tea is served on the Sugar Mill Terrace.
Hors d'oeuvres - At cocktail hour, guests can enjoy hot and cold hors d'oeuvres inside the Sugar Mill Bar or on its romantic terrace.
Attire - Attire is very casual during the day, but beach cover-ups are appreciated in the dining room at breakfast. At other times gentlemen are requested to wear long pants (no jeans, please), a collared shirt and dress shoes in the evening.
Entertainment - Live music is played nightly for dancing in the Garden Pavilion. There is also a weekly beach party luncheon with a live steel-drum band and Caribbean buffet.
Sport
Tennis is top quality at Curtain Bluff any time of the year.
- Four lighted championship tennis courts for day and night play.
- A comprehensive pro shop with a range of supplies and racquet stringing facilities.
- Three full-time staff tennis pros available for instruction.
Every May, tennis enthusiasts come to Curtain Bluff for a week of exciting sporting challenges.
Other sport options at the resort include an international squash court, a Bocci court, a putting green, lawn croquet and a fully equipped fitness center.
Yoga sessions are held regularly through the week.
The gym has a wide range of equipment.
Golf
Next time think about bringing your clubs! Jolly Harbour Golf Club has improved vastly. It is now USGA certified with a 67.8 course rating and a 121 slope rating. The course is 18 holes and plays 5587 yards, which is relatively short but challenging. There are 7 lakes that come into play on 10 holes and as with most Caribbean courses, cross winds are a major factor. The setting is beautiful with a real Caribbean flavour. The lakes are filled with tropical bird life which makes this course interesting and picturesque. If you'd like to work on your game, the Club has a resident PGA professional who will be happy to assist you. The course is a 10 min. ride from the hotel.
Watersports
From the calm currents just off their own private beach to the deeper waters of the Caribbean sea, water sports of every kind are here at Curtain Bluff. They provide complimentary equipment and instruction for a range of invigorating diversions. Sunfish Sailboats, Windsurfers, single and double Sea Kayaks. Waterskiing includes ski boat, equipment and instruction. All equipment for snorkeling off the private beach, plus guided snorkeling trips to Cades Reef on their own dive boats. Scuba diving (for certified divers only) includes equipment, compressor service and guide. Deep sea fishing on the fishing boat, Deep Six. Beach lounges, sun chaises, hammocks and sun floats. Also available for optional charter sailing -- the hotel's yacht, Sentio. Of course, you may just want to relax beside the free-form swimming pool featuring two 75-foot lap lanes.
Spa
A new addition to Curtain Bluff for the 2006-2007 season is a beautiful 4000 square foot spa which sits on the water with 5 treatment rooms (4 single rooms and 1 couples suite). The Spa is slated for opening in November 2006. Curtain Bluff offers an array of luxurious spa treatments to relax and rejuvenate the body and mind. Spa treatments can be done either in one of the 5 treatment rooms in the spa or in the privacy of your sea breezed room or suite. Spa services are optional.
Internet Access / Television Room
For those guests traveling with their computers, high speed and wi-fi wireless internet access is available in either their rooms or one of the media centres. The resort also supplies a user name and password, should guests wish to use a local internet connection instead of paying for a long distance call to access AOL, MSN, etc. The hotel also features two computer rooms with free internet access and two state of the art computers, phone access and a sitting area. Guests are invited to use the Curtain Bluff television room fully equipped with cable and satellite channels, a VCR and two computer terminals for complimentary internet access.
Activities Room
On holidays and other times when many children are at the resort, Curtain Bluff's meeting room also serves as a playroom with television, videos and games. Movies are sometimes shown for guests in the activities room.
Children
They welcome families and kids of all ages at all times with the exception of children under 12yrs, during the month of February. They offer a number of educational, ecologically friendly and just down right fun programs and activities for the junior guests. The Kids Play Room is an air conditioned 25x25 foot room for kids to gather and play games, watch DVDs or play computer games. They have a kids playground with slide, swing set and jungle gym.
