Description of The Waterfall:
Just completed in 2006, very private Waterfall offers an easy-living courtyard floorplan. The beauty of the generous Great Room unfolds as you enter the villa's main level; the living area is furnished with a deep-cushioned circular sofa and easy chairs, with a dining area and well-equipped kitchen adjoining. The crisp tropical peach and white color scheme is classic Caribbean, enhancing this relaxing setting. Arched glass slider doors open to the tiled terrace just outside, where Waterfall's infinity-edge pool, hot tub and romantic gazebo overlook spectacular views of Fish Bay below, dotted with yachts at anchor. Just outside the Great Room is a second sitting area shaded by a colonaded overhang, where plump, cushioned seating invites relaxation with a view, and blurs the line between indoor and outdoor living. This expansive sun terrace offers ample space for lazy sunbathing, a swim under the pool's natural stone waterfall, a soak in the hot tub, or breakfast in the gazebo. Flowering gardens, punctuated with palm trees swaying to the gentle tradewinds, border the terrace. Below, the panorama of pristine Fish Bay and far beyond to St. Croix on the horizon unfolds. On either side of Waterfall's Great Room are two equal king bedroom/marble bath suites with air-conditioning and satellite TV with VCR and DVD, a powder and laundry room, and an alcove featuring a home office with futon for reading and a computer with DSL line, Wi-Fi, fax and printer. On Waterfall's lower level, accessed by an exterior staircase from both the pool terrace and the main-level entrance, is the third air-conditioned bedroom/marble bath suite. This very private suite adjoins the air-conditioned exercise room, equipped with satellite TV, refrigerator, a treadmill and a stationary bike. Waterfall is Caribbean style defined: a pristine white exterior accented by vivid tropical plantings, and finished inside and out in soft tropical hues of pale terra cotta, peach, violet and turquoise, instilling this lovely residence with elegant island style. Waterfall's sublime hillside setting completes the magical aura, with expanses of blue sky, green hills and azure waters surrounding this beautifully-situated villa. Highly recommended!
