The living room has a 14 foot long couch and plenty of tables and chairs. It has a beautiful and traditional sloping thatched roof with a protected opening at the top for ventilation, which, combined with sea breeze, makes the living room quite cool, even in the summer..
The dining room is located next to the living room. Like the living room it has a traditional thatched roof with a protected opening at the top for ventilation. There is also a ceiling fan. The main dining room table can accommodate 12 guests. There is also another table on the dining room patio that can seat 8 guests.
The spacious sea view living room (over 700 square feet)has a beautiful and traditional sloping thatched roof with a protected opening at the top for ventilation, which, combined with sea breeze, makes the living room quite cool, even in the summer. There is a stereo CD system in the living room and a television (who needs one with this view). There are also ceiling fans throughout the house.
All the bedrooms in the house are air conditioned and each has its own private bathroom. 4 out of the 5 bedrooms offer sea views. The master bedroom offers a sea view (and garden view), private terrace and is situated on the ground floor in the center of the house. It holds a king-sized bed and has its own full bath. It also boasts a vanity area with separate sinks and a walk-in closet. Each bedroom is also equipped with a hair dryer.

There are 2 entries into the sea. One is a set of stairs that takes you into a kind of "cove" between the small curved pier and the shoreline. The second entry to the sea is a ladder on the open sea side of the pier.. Here you will enjoy fantastic snorkeling thanks to the depth of the water - anywhere from 10-25 feet! Deep enough to do some scuba diving right from the shore. You will also enjoy the luxury of the large pier where dive boats, snorkeling boats, and fishing boats can pick you up on the way to the reefs or fishing grounds..

Having a cook is not only a great way to save money and labor, but you can enjoy some truly wonderful home-style Mexican and Yucatecan dishes. The cook is terrific. She comes from a culture where the tradition of fine home cooking is as alive and vibrant as ever. Here's how it all works.
We have arranged this system in order to make your vacation as carefree and pleasant as possible. If you choose to make use of the food service, our staff must do the food shopping in order to assure all the proper ingredients are there in a timely fashion. Of course, if you so desire, you may do your own cooking and shopping.
Your cook will prepare breakfast and a choice of either lunch or dinner everyday except Sunday. All breakfasts are buffet form and typically enjoyed outside and under the palms on the dining room patio with the sea dancing there before you. Breakfasts always include excellent coffee or tea as well as yogurt, cereal, jam , bread and Dutch butter and a selection of fresh choice market fruits and chilled juices. Lunch is also served "al fresco" upon the patio in the shade of the palms, while dinner is always served to you in the extraordinary dining room. Both lunch and dinner may include a house salad or homemade soup, and all of the essential extras to complement a great meal.
