Immersed in the heart of the Maremma reigon of Tuscany, This Villa is located close to the town of Saturnia, famous for its natural spas, Morellino and Scansano wines, and numerous local archaeological sites. The sea is a twenty-minute drive by car.
The property itself is a splendid colonial residence with accompanying guesthouse, surrounded by 25 hectares of fenced-in land, part garden and part vineyard. Nearby there is an enchanting little lake where one can fish or simply relax on the small boat provided especially for our guests. The stone swimming pool, divided into two pools, one catering for children, can be found behind the house. The property has been restored in keeping with its rural architecture and style so retaining some of the simple rustic charm of old, creating a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The delightful covered patio with its built-in barbecue adjacent to the living room, facing the swimming pool, is furnished with a large, old rustic table and ceiling fan. The garden is surrounded by 14 hectares of vineyards that make up part of the property.
