Designed by a Parisian industrialist, Ste. Barbe is spacious and sophisticated and remains true to its original period with the original granite staircase, gallery landing and deco furnishings. The pool is situated 100 metres from the villa and includes its own quaint guest house with surrounding terraces. As you enter the grounds you will pass the 400 year old chapel of Ste. Barbe which is still used once a year by the local Bretons. The house affords spectacular views across the Blavet valley, one of the prettiest in Southern Brittany, and is complemented by mature parklands and surrounding meadows. Here you can encounter wildlife and explore ancient woodlands at your own pace.
Accommodation is split between the main house and pool house (not to be sold separately).
Second floor: Two double bedrooms and one twin, all with panoramic views, sharing a shower room.
First Floor: Twin, master bedroom, with panoramic views, separate dressing room and en suite bathroom with whirlpool bath and hydro massage cubicle. Two double bedrooms with views over the grounds and valley sharing a bathroom.
